5. Hosting Services
Web Hosting
We provide web hosting through Cloudways and private VPS servers. To manage your hosting effectively, we require access to your domain’s DNS settings.
DNS Management
We manage DNS records through Cloudflare. You may either:
-
Transfer your domain to Cloudflare and grant us access, or
-
Update your domain’s nameservers to point to our Cloudflare account
With appropriate access, we will manage necessary DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT) to ensure your website and services function correctly. Changes will be made with minimal service disruption and will only affect records related to our hosting services.
Email Services
We no longer manage ongoing email hosting services. For new email hosting requirements, we can provide recommendations and referrals to suitable service providers.
Data Backup Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your data, including website content, databases, and email. We do not provide backup services or accept liability for any data loss.
6. Fees and Payment
Pricing
All fees are specified in your project proposal or service agreement and quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated.
Deposits
Most projects require a non-refundable deposit before work commences. This covers initial planning, research, and resource allocation.
Payment Terms
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless alternative terms are agreed in writing. For ongoing services, we may require a recurring payment method.
7. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all materials you provide (logos, images, text, branding). By providing this content, you grant us a license to use it solely for delivering services to you.
